Roger Hanson

Roger Hanson serves as Director of Operations at Sigma Services, where he oversees manufacturing and contract packaging operations for customers in the food, confectionery, nutraceutical, and pet food industries. With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning operations, finance, innovation, and commercial strategy, Roger brings a unique cross-functional perspective to driving operational excellence and business growth.

In his role, Roger leads initiatives focused on process improvement, cost management, commercialization, and operational efficiency. He works closely with customers and internal teams to navigate complex manufacturing challenges, optimize production performance, and support successful product launches in fast-paced, high-mix environments. His ability to align operational strategy with customer goals helps Sigma deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support long-term growth.

Prior to joining Sigma Services, Roger built an extensive career in the contract packaging industry, developing expertise across multiple disciplines that continue to inform his strategic approach to leadership and problem-solving. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
