Mundelein,
IL – Trammell Crow Company, one of the
nation’s leading full service commercial real
estate providers, represented Sigma Services Corporation
in the acquisition of a 192,000-square-foot industrial
facility located at 225 Hawley Street in Mundelein,
Illinois from Rock-Tenn Converting Company.
Sigma Services will relocate its corporate headquarters
from 13820 Business Center Drive, Green Oaks, Illinois
to the new location later this month.
More than triple three times the size of the company’s
former current location, the distribution and assembly
center will feature interior, and exterior loading docks,
semi trailer parking, 21’ ceiling heights, temperature/
humidity controls as well as clean room capabilities.
The acquisition will allow the supply chain services
company to expand its service offerings into new markets
as well as increasing capacity for its existing customer
base. “As companies continue to cut costs by importing
goods from low cost regions, the need for stateside
distribution services will continue to expand. This
facility is the initial step to position Sigma Services
as a viable partner in this high growth market "
